I was reviewing Gavin Walkers website (willysma.com) that has developed a list of known GPAs. I went through the list and only found 14 GPAs with matching numbers (have original engine, frame, and dash plate)! Is this accurate or are there matching number GPAs missing from his list. It looks low to me and I was curious on others opinions.

The list from the Walkers is not more updated.
Also a lot of owners have changed.
I have a data base from more than 300 GPA's.
I made for several owners the promise, not to share the info.
But in my list a lot more are matching.
And in my data base are probably also mistakes !
Sometimes GPA's are sold to an other owner, and sometimes you see the same GPA with other
USA numbers or markings.
If you have info for me, please share it.
We in the Netherlands, a small country comparred with the States, have 31 GPA's for as far I know.
I am working all the time to get my list updated to the latest info.
My own GPA, that came in to the Netherlands in 2018 is also matching.

Over 300, that is remarkable! From your list, could you please answer the following questions:

Approximately,

How many GPAs (don’t care if matching number or not) are in
1) Europe?
2) USA?
3) Australia?
4) Rest of the world?

Of all the GPAs in the world, how many are matching number?
I think I will have to revise my numbers that I tell people when I display my vehicle next time!

What I have is this;
30 Netherlands,
23 Belgium
28 France
26 GB
73 US
27 Russia
70 Australia
But what I mentioned before, a lot of GPA's are sold and sometimes to other countries.
People don't share this with me
There are more GPA's in Malta, Ukriane, Poland, Italy, Chech Republic, Luxembourg, India, Brazil, Argentina, New zealand, Sweden,
Norway, Germany, South Africa, Canada, Austria, Switserland.
I don't can see often if the numbers are matching, but I have in my data base a lot that are !
If you or other people have info , pictures or owners, please share this with me.
But I don't share this on the internet as mentioned before.

The GPA is still a very rare military vehicle! Numerous people have walked by my vehicle at car shows and Cars and Coffee events and said they had never seen a GPA before and never knew they existed. Pretty much everyone was familiar with the DUKWs but not the GPA! In addition, every military WWII veteran that walked by my vehicle said they never saw one in the war! Based on Bobs list, there are only 72 in the US. That is roughly 1 in every state. For me, i know of only 1 in the State of California…mine! In fact, the closest one I am aware of is one in Portland, Oregon and one in Colorado….both over a 1000 miles away. So, I guess it is your perspective on what is rare and what is not!
