Hi guys,
the article from John Vitter, in the book 'Military and civillian Amphibians' states the following :
- relocated voltage regulator, to more adequately protect it from contact with salt water, date 12/17/42
- added inspection and servicing holes with covers, in front floor pan, to permit lubrication transmission and transfercase without having to remove entire floor, date 12/17/42
- redesigned engine cover hold down arangements, to improve sealing against entrance of water, date 12/17/42
There are more changes mentioned. As soon as i find the time i'll scan the document for those who don't own the book.

..... the covers in the frontfloor (which were neccesary for the lifting eyes in the first batch of GPA's) were also continued for no reason ...... :?
